5a. Ignite a Maker5a. In the winter of 2015, I was selected for an Ignite a Maker grant, allowing me to collaborate with other professionals to learn how to create e-textiles using code. This artifact, which was featured on the show "Wearable Wednesday," is one of the outcomes. Sharing my learning with others was another.
5a. Paper Circuits at TBPS5a. I was invited to collaborate with Thatcher Brook Primary School to teach third & fourth grade students about paper circuitry. I helped them integrate circuits into paper lanterns that they made for the Sixth annual River of Light Parade in Waterbury, held 5 Dec. 2015.
5b. Presenter at CML5b. During the summer of 2015, I taught soft circuits (paper circuitry & e-textiles) workshops to a wonderful group of educators.
